What is Project Learning Tree?
It is an award-wining environmental and natural resource curriculum for formal and non-formal educators. The materials are available through Wyoming PLT Workshops.
What Project Learning Tree Offers
The Project Learning Tree PreK-8 Environmental Education Activity Guide includes almost 100 activities correlated to the Wyoming standards. Updated in 2005, the newest guide includes activities related to technology and linked to literacy with enhanced assessments on ten of the activities. Wyoming PLT will focus on introducing this curriculum at the early childhood level in 2005 and 2006. Activities that include music and movement, literature, art, outdoor explorations, and assessment will enhance the early childhood learning environment of any program.
